■Job
Integrated Education    
Hanazono Junior High school offers 2 course pathways.
Both courses offer custom-made curriculums, in addition to the required standard National curriculum guideline.

■Job Content        
Teaching JHS Immersion Math/Science classes (in English), JHS English classes, and High School English classes.

■Treatment          
-350,000 yen/month
-Private school health insurance
-Absence with leave
-All national holidays
-Bon (mid of August) vacation
-Year-end and new-year vacation
-Duty hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
*compensation day-off for intermittent holiday work on Saturday, Sunday, or National holiday

■Application Procedure    
Please submit your CV and personal statement.
Your CV must include education history, work history, and teaching experience. Personal statement should be about your teaching philosophy and reason for application. We will contact those who have passed the initial screening.

■Paper Procedure      
After the initial screening, we will have an interview in person or on Skype depending on the applicant’s location. We will ask you to submit a teaching plan and to possibly do a demo lesson. In order to obtain teacher’s license, we will ask you to submit university transcript, graduation certificate and visa copy (visa status must be Instructor or No restriction in employment) , and we will then apply for the license. In cases of team teaching, however, applicants might not need teacher’s license.

■Start Date and Contract   
-2 year contract starting from the first week of April, 2019. Contract renewal is possible depending on the teacher’s result.

■Qualification Requirement
-Ability of teaching Math/Science and English (Math/Science major in university and/or experience of teaching ESL in Japan is preferred.)

■Task
-Planning and teaching   
-Plan lessons in accordance with educational policy of Hanazono. Plan effective lessons with a good understanding of students’ knowledge.
-Constantly improve teaching skill, introducing the latest technology and research.
In order to grade, observe and record various activities of students and follow the school-set method of grading.
-Guide and encourage students.
-Report to their homeroom teacher about students.
-Prepare and maintain school facilities, equipment, and materials.
-Be present in meetings as needed.
-Supporting students    
-Give students productive advice.
-Show students the aim and goal of each lesson.
-Maintain an appropriate learning atmosphere.
-Motivate and support students to be responsible and act in accordance with school policy.

■Professionalism      
-Respect and support all the teachers, staff, and students in class and out.
-Maintain oneself to a high standard.
-Cooperate and discuss problems with other teachers and staff.
-Treat parents in a professional manner.
-Act in accordance with the school policy.
-Be present in meetings as needed.
-Do not hesitate to console your worries with other teachers and staff.
-Be punctual.
-Contribute to maintaining the learning atmosphere of the entire school.
