Requirements

  • English: Fluent (preferred)
  • Must currently reside in Japan
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively as a team member
  • Excellent English language reading, writing and speaking skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Description

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Tracking and maintaining information relative to department and business operations
• Preparing and/or finalizing documents, photocopies, papers, presentations and other such
material of a technical and/or confidential nature; providing document translation as
required
• Planning and implementing logistics for Regional internal and external events; maintaining
calendar, arranging appointments, organizing meetings, events and activities as required;
serving as an interpreter for meetings as required
• Coordinating and processing domestic and international business travel arrangements, as
required
• Generating expense reports to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement and reconciling
charges and verifying payments to corporate credit cards
• Coordinating with the appropriate focal(s) to support the acquisition and maintenance of
resources such as computing equipment, telecommunications and office equipment; Taking
inventory, ordering and maintaining office supplies for area of responsibility
• Researching, collecting and compiling data such as training completions, business expenses,
action items and other matters requiring follow-up and providing visibility of status;
Assigning
action items in manager’s absence and following-up on matters as required
• Providing guidance for less experienced employees, providing cultural support to expatriate
employees, and working under limited supervision
• Screening telephone calls, answering routine questions and taking messages
• Performing other duties as assigned by management; duties subject to change per
management requirements
• Supporting visitors with safety briefings, security badge clearance and supplier coordination
as required.
