International Preschool and Kindergarten Teacher (expired)

At Daizawa International School we are currently hiring part-time teaching staff to join our team. We are looking for teachers with the ability to facilitate a fun, creative, energetic, and positive educational environment for the children. Our school uses a Reggio-Emilia based approach, focused on the individual child, giving them many outlets to grow in a variety of ways.

Part-time teacher qualifications:

・Must be of native level English proficiency (spoken)
・Teaching credential with 1+ years of in class experience
OR
2+ years of teaching experience in preschool/kindergarten
・Additional skills that will bring another dynamic to the classroom
・Must be comfortable using an Apple computer
・B.A. in Early Childhood Education (preferred)

We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible and preference will go to candidates who are interested in and have experience teaching 1.5 - 4 year old children. Candidates must have availability to work on Saturday.

Starting salary is ¥1,500 per hour but is negotiable based on final position, additional skills, experience, and initial performance.
