Part-time Junior/Senior High School English Teacher - April 2018 (expired)

The Osaka YMCA Language Center is looking for experienced native English language instructors to fill various part-time teaching positions starting in April 2018.

Candidates must …
> currently reside in Japan.
> hold a current valid working visa.
> have a native level of English.
> have at least three years English language teaching experience.
> have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
> be available to work from April 2018 to March 2019.

Duties include …
> planning and teaching lessons according to course guidelines.
> interacting with students, and encouraging interaction between students, in English.
> preparing and marking homework.
> participating in the assessment and recording of students' progress.

JUNIOR/SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL CLASSES

Dispatch Senior High School Class (S)
Times: Saturdays 11:30-12:30
Contract length: 18 lessons from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥4,200/lesson plus transportation
Location: near Tanimachi 9-chome Station, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 15-18 years.

Advanced Returnee Class (ARC) (S)
Times: Saturdays 15:15-17:45
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥9,800/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji
Description: Part-time native English teacher for high-level junior & senior high school students (12-18 years): returnees/international school attendees.
