Description

The Osaka YMCA Language Center is looking for experienced native English language instructors to fill various part-time teaching positions starting in April 2018.

Candidates must …
> currently reside in Japan.
> hold a current valid working visa.
> have a native level of English.
> have at least three years English language teaching experience.
> have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
> be available to work from April 2018 to March 2019.

Duties include …
> planning and teaching lessons according to course guidelines.
> interacting with students, and encouraging interaction between students, in English.
> preparing and marking homework.
> participating in the assessment and recording of students' progress.

PRESCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN CLASSES

-Dispatch Kindergarten Class (M/TU)
Times: Mondays & Tuesdays 10:00-11:50
Contract length: 1 or 2 days a week, total 35 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥10,000/day plus transportation
Location: Nishinomiya, Kobe
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Three 30-minute lessons a day.

-Dispatch Kindergarten Class (TU)
Times: Tuesdays 10:00-11:45
Contract length: 32 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥8,000/day plus transportation
Location: Higashiyodogawa, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Three 35-minute lessons a day.

-Dispatch Kindergarten Class (TU/TH)
Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays 14:15-15:10
Contract length: 2 lessons a week for 33 weeks from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥4,900/lesson plus transportation
Location: Near JR Abiko-cho station, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years.

-International Kids Program: Seekers (W)
Times: Wednesdays 15:10-18:00
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥9,800/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work.

-Weekday Kinder (W)
Times: Wednesdays 15:00-17:40
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥9,800/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work.

-Preschool Class (W)
Times: Wednesdays 11:00-11:50
Contract length: 38 lessons from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥3,500/lesson plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 2 years.

-Dispatch Kindergarten Class (F)
Times: Fridays 10:00-15:05
Contract length: 23 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥13,500/day
Location: Neyagawa, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. Five 30-minute lessons a day.

-Dispatch Kindergarten Class (F)
Times: Fridays 10:00-11:50
Contract length: 35 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥6,300/day
Location: Abeno, Osaka
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 3-6 years. One 30-minute lesson + two 20 minute lessons a day.
