Essential Functions and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Maintains vigilance while conducting practice in order to maintain constant control
of the group and emphasize safety at all times

Conducts effective and progressive swim practices

Instruct and supervise young competitive swimmers.
Teach proper competitive swimming techniques, starts, turns and racing strategies.

Provides direction, motivation, and skill development to swim team participants;
assists with swim meets, team functions, and special events

Some administrative duties and evaluating swimmer progress.

Communicates problems and concerns to the Head Swim Coach

Follows head coach guidelines as assigned for each practice.

Experience working with students ages 5-18.
