Description

Rebagg is seeking a Sales representative in Tokyo to work within the Business Development team to drive sales through business to business (B2B) channels. The goal is to procure inventory for Rebagg:
-Research and identify potential companies (consignment stores, pawn shops, auctions, etc) that would sell to Rebagg
-Outreach and connect with business prospects to increase Rebagg purchases
-Initiate calls and in-person meetings with new and existing companies to develop sales relationships
-Brainstorm new ways to target new partnerships & business
-Ultimately drive numbers for purchases of preowned luxury handbags from Japan
-Report to VP of Business Development on a daily and weekly basis in NYC
-Leverage 100% fluency in reading, writing & speaking Japanese and English to exceed goals on a daily basis

Preferred Skills
-We are looking for candidates with luxury fashion experience in sales and/or business development and have a knowledge of the luxury resale market:
-Candidates should align with our positive corporate culture and be self-motivated, results--driven and entrepreneurial-minded
-Strong hunter in customer-centered sales with a desire to exceed expectations and quotas
-Ability to develop new business through prospecting
-Previous client base in similar field or face to face outside sales environment
-Ability to quickly establish and maintain productive relationships with key prospects
-Ability to multitask and change direction in ever changing startup environment
-Strong communications, including oral and presentation skills
-Effective planning, time management and organizational skills
-Deep understanding of the luxury goods fashion industry and the key players involved
-Knowledge of the luxury resale market in Japan (particularly handbags)
-Team player, positive and results-driven
-Ability to work remotely

Required Experience
-5+ years experience in sales and/or business development in luxury fashion
-Fluent in reading, writing and speaking the English and Japanese language

*Bachelor’s Degree

Tools
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to quickly learn various internal sales applications such as Salesforce.com
