Public School ALT - Interviews in London (May 20th & June 3rd)（到期)

ALTIA CENTRAL is once again accepting applications from overseas candidates to join our team of fantastic ALTs from September, 2017 and later. We will be conducting 1-on-1, weekend interviews in London on the weekends of May 20th and June 3rd. We also set up overseas interviews in the US in Los Angeles, Seattle, Charlotte, Chicago and Tampa each year as well.

Our ideal applicant is a native English speaker with a bachelor's degree (or higher) who is flexible, culturally sensitive, and motivated to go the extra mile to provide a positive experience for students.

We prefer candidates with communicative Japanese language skills and at at least some teaching experience with young learners. We would also like to hear why you have chosen to live and work in Japan.

ALTs work in public schools assisting Japanese teachers, helping to provide enjoyable and energetic lessons, and interacting with the students both inside and outside the classroom. Working as an ALT is a great opportunity to improve your Japanese language ability through cooperation with Japanese staff, to experience and appreciate cultural differences, and most importantly, to be positively involved with the development and well-being of young children.

ALTIA CENTRAL enjoys an excellent reputation, positive relationships with Boards of Education, and is respected by the English teaching community in Japan. We operate mostly in the Chubu area, especially Aichi, Gifu, Mie, and Shizuoka prefectures, areas further west such as Shiga, Okayama, and Hiroshima, along with a number of contracts in the Kansai area as well.
