The role of Brand Coach (Account Marketing / Activation Plans) is to
deliver significant business growth and improvement through training /
merchandising and sales activities.

■Key Responsibilities

- Working off the seasonal marketing calendar the Brand Manager will be responsible for product and retail, as well as branding activities. His or her responsibilities will include the following:
- Successfully achieving category KPIs at key points of purchase
- Delivering and executing marketing activation strategy through key channels
- Delivering and executing key consumer activation concepts through key channels
- Ensuring excellence at key outlets including display and consumer engagement
- Measuring the effectiveness of all marketing activation plans
- Managing the seasonal activation calendar from planning with the team to
in-store implementation
- Understanding product, customer and consumer needs in the Japanese market
- Handling the management of tool kits needed for in-store deployment and staff briefing
- Ensuring best practice of the local and global strategy
- Conducting relevant reporting activities to measure efficiency and commercial success
- Managing budgets and spending within agreed measures
- Understanding the Japanese consumer retail environment.


- University degree in business preferred, ideally with marketing and
- sales focus or equivalent professional experience
Retail Management / Merchandising Experience or Account Marketing / Sales

- High professional maturity
- Highly collaborative ability with strong communication skills
- Ability to make fact based decisions
- Strong analytical skills
- Structured, organized and process orientated
- Previous experience in Brand Management or Merchandising/ Ranging/ SMU /
- Strong business acumen as well as an ability to assume a broader perspective
(cross-markets/ global)
- Ability to work effectively in the field and within a team environment,
and under pressure
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
