Description

The Head of Content will oversee the creation of digital, social, video and editorial content. He/She will set the creative strategy, manage production, talent and develop strong partnerships with producers, publishers and content creators. This leader will be responsible for developing a video/content strategy and will define and grow the SmartBuyGlasses (SBG) voice across all platforms.

Candidates must have a strong editorial sense with outstanding SEO, social platform knowledge, video production, branded entertainment development, planning and operational experience.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and execution of SBG’s content strategy and voice
• Manage the full integration of content from creation to execution including production, programming & creative scheduling across all digital and social platforms
• Lead the brand and creative strategy for content and Video production
• Work with visual designers & video makers to integrate imagery and visuals into content
• Manage SEO & Creative teams including goal setting, staffing, production and performance
• Oversee audience development and release strategies for content
• Develop creative solutions for external partners and emerging platforms
• Build and foster content partnerships and industry relationships

Qualified Candidate

• Strong leadership, team building and operational experience
• Highly ambitious, creative, self-motivated and organized personality with successful content development and production background
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• History of building and managing multiple and successful productions
• Extensive knowledge of content that can be exploited across multiple digital and linear channels
• A brand builder with strong creative sensibilities and the ability to identify compelling storylines
• A strong visual eye that showcases content in brand appropriate ways
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team; owns a positive “can do” attitude and highly self-motivated.
• Ability to self-prioritize work streams, to take on responsibilities and to meet tight deadlines.
• Comfortable with multi-tasking and working in an extremely fast paced and target oriented environment.
