<Job Description>
Minerva Intelligence is looking for experienced ALTs who can work independently
to teach in public Elementary and Jr. High schools starting May-June, 2016.
―Condition―
・Compensation: Up to 12,500 yen per day (※Including Transportation Fee)
・Work Hours: 8:30-16:30*
・Work Start: From May-June, 2016
*Work schedule/ hours will slightly change depending on the schools.
―Responsibility―
・Teach during regular Elementary or Junior High School hours
・Support the assigned classroom teacher in a positive and professional manner
・Prepare materials required to teach lesson content successfully
・Communicate effectively with students, staff, and management
<Support/ Training>
・Paid training in preparation for starting work at the schools.
・Experienced English speaking staff available to support ALT living and working needs.
<Qualifications: >
・Speak, read, and write English at the native level.
・Understand how to teach English as a second language to Japanese children.
・ALT or Lead Classroom Teacher experience in Japan.
・Reside in or be able to independently relocate to the Kanto Area.
(TESOL/TEFL /JLPT certified individuals may qualify for increased pay up to the maximum rate.)

・Comfortable using a range of techniques, games, and activities to engage students
・Able to lead active play with young children for extended amounts of time
・Polite, flexible, and willing to adjust to different classroom teachers' styles
