Berlitz Japan has immediate openings for Part-Time English instructors in our Tokai Language Centers (Toyota, Nagoya and Kariya).

We are seeking instructors for our international team who
* are native (or native-fluent) English speakers;
* are culturally sensitive, dynamic, mature and professional;
* have excellent organizational and communication skills;
* are looking to work for a minimum of one year;
* are interested in teaching both adults and children;
* are already in Japan and residing in the Tokai (Aichi, Gifu, Mie) area;
* are available to work in the evenings on weekdays and during the day on weekends;
* are available to attend our training program (held over one week or two consecutive weekends).

We offer competitive compensation (125,000 yen per month for a 13.3 hr work week) with attractive benefits in a professional work environment. Extra earnings (a per-lesson rate of 1,900 yen for each 40-min lesson taught over 13.3 hrs/week) are also available depending on availability. Flexible paid-per-lesson contracts\ are also possible at 1,900 yen per 40-min lesson. Teaching materials provided.

Visa/residence requirements: Applicants must already hold a valid visa or work permission for Japan. Applications from outside Japan will NOT be considered.
