<Job Description>
Minerva Intelligence is looking for experienced ALTs who can work independently to teach in public Elementary and Jr. High schools in the Koshigaya area (Saitama prefecture).
―Condition―
・Compensation: Up to 12,000 per day (including transportation)
・Work Hours: 8:30-16:00*
・Work Schedule: End of August- February*
*Work schedule/ hours will slightly change depending on the schools.
―Responsibility―
・Teach during regular Elementary or Junior High hours
・Support the assigned classroom teacher in a positive and professional manner
・Prepare materials required to teach lesson content successfully
・Communicate effectively with students, staff, and management
<Support>
・Paid training in preparation for starting work at the schools.
・Experienced English speaking staff available to support ALT living and working needs.
<Qualifications: >
・Speak, read, and write English at the native level.
・Understand how to teach English as a second language to Japanese children.
・ALT or Lead Classroom Teacher experience in Japan.
・Reside in or be able to independently relocate to the Tokyo/Saitama area.
(TESOL/TEFL /JLPT certified individuals may qualify for increased pay up to the maximum daily rate.)

・Able to lead active play with young children for extended amounts of time
