Global Learning Advancement Department (GLAD) is seeking passionate and committed educators to be placed as English language teachers in preschools, elementary, junior high, senior high schools and universities across Japan. Successful candidates will be flexible, enthusiastic and passionate about English education.

Shibuya Full- Time Preschool English Teacher Position

We are advertising for a full-time position as a Preschool English Teacher in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo to be placed in a preschool that is recently introducing a new English learning program in a campus near JR Ebisu station.

Contract dates:
April 2015 – March 2016

The Successful applicant will strive to create and maintain an English learning environment and fulfill the following duties to support the development of students from one to three years old.

・Plan and lead fun lessons for students to develop social and functional skills.
・Actively assist in Nursery work and supervision responsibilities.
・Participate in school events and culture festivals.
・Provide support in school administration and curriculum development.

Conditions:
・Salary ranges from 230,000 – 250,000 monthly, depending on qualifications and experience.
・Transportation costs will be fully covered on a route agreed upon by the teacher and GLAD.
・Monday to Friday. 8 hour shift between 9:00am and 4:00pm.
・Days off include weekends, National Holidays, and other holidays set on the preschool’s school calendar.

Position Requirements:
・CELTA/TESOL certification and past experience teaching at a preschool is preferred.
