Description

Primary Function:

• Management of overall product service/support activities throughout Japan.
• Set company direction as a member of the Cummins Japan Leadership Team
• Lead / inspire service department staff to deliver excellent customer support


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe work environment for employees and affiliates
• Lead a team of professional / non-professional staff to deliver excellent customer support for owners of Cummins powered equipment in Japan
• Direct Cummins parts and service dealers throughout Japan to employ Cummins QuickServe support model and delight end customers with timely, accurate repairs
• Create and execute a strategy to increase service department revenue and profit
• Administration of Cummins warranty/policy claims.
• Coordinate customer support efforts across CJL functions: Service, Parts, Wholegooods Sales
• Administration of service reports and invoices from service dealers.
• Financial management of the service department.
• Manage workshop and field service operations.
• Oversee service group staff activities related to customer/OEMs support.
• Participate in all SE/NE Asia Service functional excellence conferences.
• Lead the Customer Support Excellence program implementation
• Oversee the following activities for CJL Service Department:
 Distributor field service engineering activities
 Policy management
 Product Incident Report management
 Rail engine customer support: failure analysis, improvement of their maintenance jobs, improvement of parts, etc.
 Support for indirect engine customers.
 Support US military vehicles/equipment in US bases such as Okinawa, Yokohama and etc



Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline
• Five or more years of experience in aftermarket product support
• Demonstrated people management experience
• Experience leading projects or improvement initiatives
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in Japanese language and English (TOEIC 800 level or above is preferred)

通勤時にはJR大森駅、京浜急行平和島駅間に当社シャトルバスが出ておりますので、原則そちらをご利用頂きます。
会社発最終バスは19時45分です。ほとんどの社員はその時間までには帰宅しています。
