---Teach English in a One-of-a-Kind Setting!---

As an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT), you would be co-teaching with a Japanese teacher, making activities and materials to facilitate English language instruction, and interacting with the students inside and outside of the classroom. It is a very exciting way to learn about Japanese culture and improve teaching skills. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, flexible, and truly wants to make a positive impact on the lives of their students.

---About Borderlink and Our Support System---

Highly respected among boards of education and schools throughout Japan, Borderlink is dedicated to helping you write that chapter and gain the skills to become the very best teacher you can be.

Our support staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to assist you as you get settled into the job. We provide help with immigration, finding apartments, banking, relocation issues, and getting acclimated to the Japanese school environment and general daily life.

Whether you are new to teaching or a seasoned veteran, we will help you develop and polish your skills. We provide you with extensive training prior to placement, and will continue to do so throughout your time working with us.

As ALTs work at public schools in Japan, applicants should have some proficiency in the Japanese language, or a strong desire to learn it. We will do our best to help beginners, as well as more experienced speakers, grow and strengthen their abilities.

---Requirements---

The ideal candidate should be available to start immediately. We hold interviews based on candidates' schedules and can be flexible with either a Skype or face-to-face interview at our offices in Saitama and Tokyo. Interviews are held Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

*A valid Japanese work visa is required for this position.

*Only those passing the initial screening will receive response.
