Description

Established in 1985, Tokyo International School Group (TISG) runs Tokyo International School Afterschool (TISAS), Tokyo International School Kindergarten (TISKG), and Tokyo International School Learning Through English (TISLTE) at our Nakameguro, Minami Azabu, Komazawa, Toritsudai, and Gakugeidai model school campuses in Tokyo. We also have franchise campuses based in Kachidoki (Chuo-ku), Maruyama (Sapporo), Nishinomiya (Hyogo), Chuo-ku (Fukuoka), and Kofu (Yamanashi).

We are now accepting applications for part-time Saturday positions with our TIS Learning Through English (TISLTE) program at our Naka Meguro, Minami Azabu, and Gakugeidai model school campuses, and our Kachidoki franchise campus.

IDEAL CANDIDATE: We are looking for confident, dedicated, and energetic teachers. The candidates must be passionate, energetic, and hard-working, and they must have a university degree.

POSITION DETAILS: The positions are Saturday School positions. There are two classes on each schedule, the first class is from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and the second class is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Our Saturday program is open for children aged between 4 and 10 years of age with classes divided into age and level.

LOCATION: One position each at Naka Meguro, Minami Azabu, Gakugeidai, and Kachidoki.

START DATE: The start date is April 2nd.

COMPENSATION: 10,000 yen per 3-hour class, 20,000 per day (there are 2 classes per day). Transportation is fully reimbursed.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS: resumes will be screened to check that minimum requirements are met. Candidates will be contacted to arrange a first-round Skype web interview. Following the first round of interviews candidates will be short-listed for a second round of interviews, which will include a trial lesson. Prior to the second-round interview, candidates will be asked to email a copy of their residence cards, passports, copies of qualifications, and letters of reference. Following the trial lessons, a final decision will be made.
