Business English Instructor for Corporate Program in Hitachi-taga, Ibaraki
Berkeley House Language Center is seeking an experienced English Instructor for an upcoming corporate program in Hitachi-taga, Ibaraki, from October 2018.
Contract period: Six months (renewable for an additional six month contract)
Location: Hitachi-taga, Ibaraki
Working days: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 8:30am to 3:00pm
Teaching schedule: 5 set lessons per day (one lesson on either T or W will be used to make up missed classes and/or prep time)
Students : Corporate office workers/engineers
Work duties: preparing and teaching all lessons, submitting lesson plans as requested, monthly student progress reports, participating in meetings and follow-up training as requested
Please note- all teachers must undergo our week long unpaid teacher training program before starting their programs.
<Qualification Requirements>
Native or native-level English speaker
Flexible and dedicated team player
Possess an undergraduate degree from an accredited university with TESL/TEFL certificate
Experience Japanese nationals at all levels of English proficiency
Business experience or business English teaching experience a plus, but not required. This will be an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to graduate from English conversation lessons to corporate classes.
Remuneration: 15,000yen/day
Benefits
Transportation expenses will be fully reimbursed
Completion bonus: 20,000yen shall be paid upon successful completion of the course.
