Full-time English Teacher（到期)

We are taking applications for position of Head teacher.

Your will be required to teach basic English conversation using various activities. In addition to basic language instruction, we also value the all round development of children and so our Education Program also offers classes on cross-cultural understanding, art, programming, and more. Applicants should enjoy being in the company of children, be able to resonate with them and find creative ways to bring out the best in them .

In terms of staff, we are looking for

1) People who want to achieve self improvement through work and enjoy communicating with others .

2) people who enjoy creating lessons plans for classes.

3) Active people who take pride in their work and their students’ progress and achievements.

We have two schools in fairly central and trendy locations of Asahigaoka and Maruyama.

The job will start at the beginning of September 2022 and the first few weeks employment will be a training period, during which the trainee teacher will be mainly observing lessons. During this period the trainee teacher will be paid 1,000 yen/hour.

Hokkaido is renowned for its champagne powder snow, which falls in abundance, attracting skiers and boarders from all over the world. There are many excellent ski resorts: Teine ( in Sapporo), Niseko and Rusutsu, to name just a few.

Many locals though prefer the months from May through November when the
green nature flourishes in abundance.
There are also many tranquil forest parks and green areas in the city itself, such as Odori Park, and the rural areas are easily accessible from the city center.
The cost of living in Hokkaido is extremely cheap by international standards and the population of Sapporo has been increasing year on year for more than a decade due to its increasing popularity among Japanese living in more stressful environments in the main island.
Sapporo strikes a unique balance by offering the fun and entertainment of a big city, while at the same time offering semi rural lifestyle options very close to the city center.



Work Content
Create lesson plans based on English Splash curriculum.
Preparation of teaching materials for lesson.
Announcements to teachers all event informations.
Interview with new teacher candididate.
New teacher training
Write student evaluations and progress reports for parents.
Participate in all special events.
Provide a warm and caring attitude in the classroom.
Work Conditions
5 days work a week
120 days paid holiday (this was the case for 2021) including 1 week in summer and 1 week in winter.


Transportation allowance: up to ¥11,000 per month
Work Insurance covered
40 hours a week

You must have more than three years of teaching experience with young children.
