Horizon Sendai Primary School is a Japanese Article-one school providing compulsory elementary education. We follow the Japanese National Curriculum Guidelines as well as the standards and practices of the IB Primary Years Programme as an authorized PYP school. We have also received a "Special Designated School" status from the Ministry of Education to implement an English Immersion Program. Depending on the subject we use English and/or Japanese as the language of instruction. Each class is assigned an English Homeroom Teacher and a Japanese Homeroom Teacher requiring both teachers to work collaboratively.
