Description

Global Step Academy International School is looking for experienced and creative teachers to work with children at an international school. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning and active participation in all student activities. Teachers must have a genuine interest in working and communicating with children of different ages, nationalities, mother tongues, and backgrounds.

[THE SCHOOL]
Our schools are providing high-quality education to over 80 children in a relaxed, home-like atmosphere. Our curriculum is based on the "International Early Years Curriculum" with an extra focus on the teaching of sports, dance, and music.

[WORKING CONDITIONS]
Working Hours: 8 hours + 1-hour break (mainly 8:30-17:30)
Working Days: Monday to Friday.
Holidays: Japanese National Holidays + about 6 weeks of school holidays + paid holidays
Allowances: transportation fees reimbursement (up to 15,000/month), Social Insurance (Shakai Hoken) for full-time employees.

[DUTIES]
-Plan daily lesson plans and classroom activities aligned with the school's monthly curriculum.
-Assess students regularly and analyze student results; refine and differentiate classroom instruction based on assessment data and student needs.
-Manage student behavior.
-Maintain accurate student records and attendance.
-Identify unique student needs and collaborate with team members to effectively address those needs.
-Support the mission, vision, and core values of Global Step Academy International School
-Perform other related duties as required and assigned (school bus attendant duties, classroom cleaning, and management).

[REQUIRED SKILLS]
-Knowledge of child cognitive development
-Ability to understand and arrange qualitative and quantitative student data
-Ability to assess students of different mother tongues and backgrounds
-Ability to collaborate with parents and colleagues
-Office proficiency

[SALARY]
¥250,000 to ¥290,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

[MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL LEVEL AND EXPERIENCE]
-NATIVE English speakers
-Bachelors degree
-Valid teaching credentials and experience are highly preferred.
