Description

Sophia Zemi English School seeks a friendly, open-minded, reliable, and highly motivated native English instructor to start in August 2024.

Duties include working with Japanese teachers to teach English to children, organizing several events during the year, and assisting with social media promotion. Class sizes range from one to ten students. There will be a training period of 2 weeks to 1 month.

No experience is necessary, but we welcome instructors who love children and can give energetic, cheerful, and fun lessons.

Wages and Benefits:

1) Paid days off including 1-week Golden Week break, 1-week Obon break, 1-week Spring break, 1-week Fall break, and 2-week Christmas and New Year holidays.
2) Base salary (5 days/25 teaching hours per week) – 250,000 yen (after the training) and full compensation for travel expenses
3) Rent subsidies - 20,000 yen/month (for residents in company dormitory)
4) Perfect attendance allowance - 20,000 yen/month
5) New student bonus - 3,000 yen/student and other allowances and bonuses
6) A company car is available
7) Company housing (1LDK apartment) is available
