【Be an ALT in Shizuoka - the Home of Mount Fuji!】

We are now hiring for Assistant Language Teacher position in the city of Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture. Positions will begin very soon, so we highly encourage you to apply now to secure a spot!

Stretching from the Izu Peninsula to the area surrounding Lake Hamana, Shizuoka has everything: cities, forests, beaches, and mountains, including the greatest of them all, Mount Fuji. Our positions in the area are located in Susono City and offer a unique opportunity with shorter working hours per day, freeing up your afternoons. These positions are full-time and ideal for those seeking a consistent, stable schedule. Driving is required for these positions, but we are able to help if you do not currently own a vehicle. 【Position Details】
● Locations: Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture
● Contract Period: April 2021 to March 2022
● Contract Type: Full Time (Monthly salary with shorter hours)
● Level: Kindergarten
● Working Hours: Between 8:00 am to 12:30 pm
● Salary range: Between 135,000 to 165,000 yen /month

【Requirements】
In addition to those stated at the top of this ad, successful candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as be highly motivated, outgoing/friendly, flexible with working conditions, and be in good health. Before applying, please be certain that you can commit to the entire length of the contract (until March 2022).

Successful candidates must have a TEFL/TESOL/equivalent teaching certificate OR have prior English teaching experience in Japan.

These positions require the ability to drive in Japan. Candidates must hold a valid Japanese Driver's License or International Driving Permit. Candidates who do not own a vehicle can lease a company car from us.

【About ALT Work】
As an ALT, you would be responsible for co-teaching with Japanese teachers, making activities and materials to facilitate English language instruction.
