English Nursery School Teacher (expired)

Description

Unison World English nursery school is located right in front of Sendai station (10 minute on foot) which has perfect access to anywhere in Sendai, the largest city in Northeast Japan (Tohoku in Japanese). We provide an all English environment and well-designed curriculum to our nursery and after-school care programs for children age mainly from 1-10. Our aim is to provide a fun and encouraging environment for children to ensure that they develop skills and abilities to be open, caring, and international. We are hiring two English teachers to bring in more dynamics to our classroom.

[Qualifications]

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS degree; all majors considered) or above


Teaching certificate:
Preferred, but not required for native English speakers
Preferably TESOL, CELTA certificate

Japanese language skills:
Preferred, but not required

[Working Conditions]
Salary:
Base salary of ￥230,000~￥250,000 monthly. Structured pay-rise system and career advancement opportunities based on experience, ability and performance. All new teachers will have a 3 month probation period.
Contract:
Renewable one year contract
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, some Saturdays and school events
Holidays and Leave:
Instructors receive ten paid vacation days a year after having worked six months and will increase based on the years of working at the company. National holidays.

OJT trainings provided.
