We are an English After school in the heart of Tokyo seeking a part time Bilingual School Manager.

COMPANY BACKGROUND;

Global Kids Place is an English immersion After school located in Sangenjyaya on the Showa Women`s University campus. Our After school is open from 1pm to 7pm and students arrive between 2pm and 4pm. Every day there is 1 hour of English class, and 1 hour of an extra-curricular activity (Monday is Capoeira&Art, Tuesday is Art , Wednesday is IT & Dance, Thursday is Art, Friday is IT). English classes are separated by levels, and the maximum number of children per class is 15 students. Our students’ age range from 5 to 10 years old.

We have a great team of teachers from diverse backgrounds such as the United States, France, Australia and The Dominican Republic! We are currently recruiting to hire a part time bilingual school manager to join our team from January 2019.

LOCATION
Sangenjyaya (on the Showa Women`s University campus)

CONTRACT DATES
Days required;
3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday preferred but negotiable)
*Full time is also an option if desired

START DATE
7 January 2019


WAGE
1,500 JPY/hour + transport or Monthly salary if full time

JOB DESCRIPTION
The daily operation of an after school which involves picking up children from daycare (5 mins from the school), preparing snacks, traffic control of classes (ie. Making sure all the classes end and start at the right time, making sure all children go home at the correct time), caring for the childrens’ needs (eg. if a child is injured, attend to the child and let the parent know), playing with children, attending to the parents, assisting/interpreting for the teachers and at times helping with preparation for classes/events.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- A mature, responsible and organized person who is able to manage people well.
- Fun and flexible personality. Must like children!
- Must be bilingual in both English & Japanese
