Aoba-Japan Bilingual Preschool are developing a new campus at Mitaka, Tokyo.

The campus will open April 2018.

We are looking for Native English teachers, preferably qualified and / or experienced to teach our students which age from 0-5 year olds. The classes are separated by age, so we are very flexible with the age group you prefer to work with. We have a diversity of teachers from America, Canada, Australia, Britain, Japan, Jamaica to name a few. We are a very successful school with many sister schools including the famous Aoba Japan international school. We also are one of the few pre-primary educational institutes to be an authorized IB World school. We are dedicated to provide the best learning environment for children and strive to promote IB philosophy throughout our school community.


Required skills and experience:

-having excellent communication skills and are eager to learn new things

-holding a university degree (degree in education/early childhood preferred)

-having at least 2 years experience of teaching (preferably 0-6 age level)

-experiences working in an IB school/s is preferred

-good lesson planners, open to new ideas and enthusiastic to work with children

-are patient, active, friendly and flexible

-are careful and thoughtful

-are team players and proactively support others

Main duties and responsibility:

Lesson planning and curriculum creation
Teaching lessons effectively and offering attractive lessons for the kids
Evaluating students and monitoring their progress
Attending meetings, events, and other activities, if required
