Description

Part-Time English Language Teaching Position for:
2017 Regular Program on Wednesdays for elementary school students (STARTING DATE: sometime in September or October)

Work Hours & Salary:
Wednesdays: 16:30~18:30 / ¥6,600-¥7,700 + transportation allowance per lesson
*Teachers are required to arrive early enough to prepare for the class and stay for extra 10-15 minutes to interact with parents and tidy up the class room.
*The maximum number of students per class is 12.

Student:
Grade1 – Grade 6

Contract Term:
September or October-March 2018
*Regular programs do not run during summer, winter, spring breaks (YMCA runs intensive programs during summer, winter, spring breaks). YMCA will inform you detailed academic schedule through interview with you.

Responsibilities include the followings:
・Develop your own lesson plans based on our curriculum, theme and other instruction and submit your lesson plan to YMCA staff
・Conduct engaging, enjoyable, and educational English language classes based on our teaching curriculum and additional instruction to help nurture the potential of our students through the language education (Teaching contents may include phonics, grammar, listening, reading, speaking, social studies, simple math, and crafts)
・Ensure the English only policy is followed all the time
・Attend teacher's orientation
・Complete other related tasks assigned by the chief teacher or YMCA staff

*Only applicants who have passed our initial screening will be contacted and invited for an interview and demonstration lesson with a YMCA teacher and staff.
