Background:
Oshu corporation is a registered education company in Japan, established in 1986.
We now have more than 15,000 students with more than 100 school branches including Osaka, Kyoto, Okayama, Hiroshima, and more.
Oshu corporation also has an IB Diploma school in New Zealand, Auckland International College, a NZ Ministry of Education registered private day and boarding school, whose graduates aim for and are accepted into the world's top universities.


The programme:

Teach English to kids (AICKids/AICTeens) - you will be teaching solo, i.e., this is not an ALT position
This position is based at two classrooms in Osaka:
Toyonaka school is 9 minutes walk from Okamachi station
Miyakojima school is 2 minutes walk from Miyakojima station

Starting Date: May 30, 2017
Contract term: May 2017 - February 2018 (renewed yearly)
Students age: between 5 and 15
Class size: up to 8 kids
Days off: Sundays and Tuesdays
Working days/locations: Toyonaka (Mon, Wed, Fri), Miyakojima (Thu, Sat)


Working hours : Weekdays 2:00 - 8:30, Saturdays 12:00 - 9:00

(Depending on the type of classes, they may end later than 8:30, but the start time will change to accomodate that, i.e. working hours will not exceed those advertised.)

Transportation cost : up to 30,000 yen per month (upon presentation of receipts)

Insurances : Health, Pension, employment

Training will take place in our main school in Hiroshima from May 30th to June 10th.
You will be able to return to Osaka for the weekend in the middle of the training, leaving on Saturday evening and returning on Tuesday afternoon.

All transportation and accommodation costs during training will be covered by the school.

June 13th to 17th will be spent observing classes in our Tennouji classroom, with trial lessons taking place from June 20th to July 1st.
Regular classes will begin on July 4th.


Preference will be given to candidates with at least intermediate command of Japanese.
Experience teaching children is an absolute must.
