【Job Overview】
As a Database Manager you will:
・Maintain the database and update permissions
・Merge old databases into new ones
・Optimize databases, troubleshoot in the case of technical issues
・Install new software and updates
・Maintain records of repairs and updates
・Setting up and testing new database and data handling systems
・Developing protocols for data processing

【Required skills】
・Strong analytical and organizational skills
・3 years of database management or related experience
・Eye for detail and accuracy
・Ability to understand business needs
・Understanding of structured query language (SQL)
・Experience with their database software/web applications
・Up-to-date knowledge of technology
・PHP/Ruby expertise

【Plus】
Knowledge of 'relational database management systems' (RDBMS), 'object oriented database management systems' (OODBMS) and XML database management systems.
