After School Teacher for Kids (expired)

Fuji Machine Manufacturing is looking for new instructors for its Science and English after school academy “teracoyaTHANK”. teracoyaTHANK is located in Chiryu, Aichi prefecture and caters for elementary school students (grades 1 to 6). This new concept school combines after school day care with the learning of English through science experiments and various other fun activities. We are looking for instructors to not only teach lessons, but become involved in all aspects of this exciting project.

Employment conditions:
Full time
Renewable contract (1 year)

Job description:
・Teaching lessons in English (including science experiments) and related work
・Developing curriculum
・Planning yearly schedule and special events
・Student evaluations
・Sales and marketing

Work time:
・Mon-Fri 11:00-20:00

Monthly salary:
・JPY250,000~ per month)
Depending on skill & experience

Requirements:
・Native English speaker
・Must be living in Japan
・Experience teaching children (~12 years old)
・Conversational Japanese
・Proper work visa required

・Graduated with a degree in a science subject, or have a particular interest in science
