Position: Full time English Teacher at a Preschool / Nursery School in Tokyo

School: Preschool / Nursery School

Nearest Station: Kasai station on Touzai line and/ Gotanda station on Yamanote line, Toei Asakusa line and Tokyu Ikegami line

Working Schedule: 5 working days between Monday – Sunday
Kasai: Monday to Friday (Off: Saturday, Sunday, National Holiday)
Gotanda: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday (Off: Saturday, Monday, National Holiday)

※Shifting schedule depending on school calendar
※8 working hours plus lunch break between 9:00 to 20:00 (40 working hours in a week)

Contract term: 1 year renewable contract

Vacation: National holidays, seasonal vacation depending on the school calendar
※You will be asked to attend some of the weekends in a year to participate in school events and/or for a sleepover event. In that case you will receive a compensation day off or an extra salary.

[Salary]
250,000yen～285,000yen per month※Including allowances

Benefits:
Transportation fee are reimbursed
Social Insurance (Including Health insurance, Pension, Unemployment Insurance etc.)

Others:
Extracurricular allowances etc.

[Duties]
The lesson should be followed by a particular teaching method and a curriculum with provided materials. You will also assist Japanese teachers with the daycare duties outside of lesson time. (for Nursery) As for the assisting duties, you will assist students during lunch, clean rooms, take students outside, and help students to change clothes etc. there will also be some desk works including lesson planning and class management tasks.

[Teaching]
Maximum of 20 lessons in a week.

[Others]
You will have school lunch with other teachers and it will cost you approx. 3,000yen / month.

[Requirements]
Must be a Native English speaker
Must love children
Must be able to adapt a particular teaching method based on the training
Japanese skills are plus!
Must hold a minimum Bachelor’s Degree
Must be friendly, outgoing, and easy to work with
Must be positive thinker, be a team player
Teaching experience at a preschool and nursery are a plus
VISA sponsorship available for qualified candidates already living in Japan
