【Job Title】
Part-time English Training Program Development and Instruction

【Job Description】
Tri-Arrow, an engineer dispatch and IT solutions company in Tokyo, is looking for an experienced English teacher for in-house instruction. We would like to start an internal English learning program for our employees.

Your mission would be the development of a prototype for English courses to provide our employees with continuous English learning.

At first, you will be expected to prepare, research materials, and plan for the new curriculum. But after that, you would progress to teaching employees by yourself as an in-house English teacher in group or one-to-one lessons.

【Responsibilities】
・English training program development (1st Step);
-Plan the English learning program for using English actively, not just for studying
-Design curriculum, course and the overview of teaching policy suit each student level as our company standard
-Select textbooks that match our education policies
-Create the environment to obtain feedback from students for review and improvement
-Eventually, recruit and hire new instructors, based on our education policies
-Discuss this education policy with other instructors and improve it continuously
-Design the learning effect evaluation system for our students continuously

・English Training instructor (2nd Step);
-Lessons will be by face-to-face or via video conference
-Inspire and motivate employees to learn English
-Provide employees homework and assess them
-Brush up teaching methods to make it more effective
-Monitor student’s progress through proper assessments
-Record students’ attendance and learning outcomes each lesson, and write reports
-Maintain good relationship with students and other staffs

【Requirements】
・Must;
-Bachelor’s degree or up *Must submit a copy of diploma upon request
-Experience in teaching English conversation to adult Japanese people by face-to-face class or online (3 years or more)
-Experience of residing in Japan (3 years or more)
-Valid visa status; being able to work in Japan

・Preferred;
-Degree in Education/Adult Education
-Experience in teaching English to intermediate and advanced level of adult Japanese people
-Experience in IT engineering or teaching English in IT company
-Business level Japanese

【Work Location】
Tokyo Office (Tamachi), and you can work from home

【Work Hours】
Work days and times are negotiable.
For mainly online lessons, you usually can work from home late evening on weekday by Skype.
You might supplementary do lesson by face to face at Tokyo Office (Tamachi).

【Holidays】
Depending on company policy and lesson schedule

【Salary】
・Class Instructor;
¥2,000-4,000/hour, depending on your skills, experience and the number of students.
・Course Development;
¥3,000～4,000/hour, depending on your skills, experience.

*Salary increase, bonus;
-Raise: Reviewed once a year. Depending on your accomplishment
-Bonus: Once a year. Depending on corporate performance and your accomplishment

【Job Contract Period】
6 months
*Possibility of renewing contract
