Description

An elementary school located in southern Kyoto is looking for an elementary school ESL immersion music teacher staring in July, 2018. If you are looking for music teaching position in Japanese elementary school and love children, this is a great opportunity.

<Elementary School Immersion Art Teacher in Southern Kyoto>
Contract period: July 2018 - March 2019 (August start is also considerable)
Location: Southern Kyoto.
(About 80mins from Osaka, 45mins from Kyoto station/About 30mins from Nara)
Payment: From 320,000yen(before tax) + travel expenses.
* Depending on experience and background
Lessons: 24 lessons/week
* Lessons are scheduled from Mon to Fri.
Lesson content: Music in English from grade 1 to grade 6

<Qualification Requirements>
* Must have a bachelor's degree or higher
* At least 2 years music teaching experience
* Can play the piano
* A teacher who loves to spend time with children.
* Experience in PYP or knowledge about PYP is preferred
* Intermediate Japanese ability is preferable
* Must currently reside in Japan and have a proper visa
