Description

We are now accepting applications from suitably qualified and experienced educators at a new International Preschool opening in September 2019.
Michael International Preschool is conveniently located in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture approximately one hour from Kobe City.
We are looking for bright,energetic qualified candidates who have a genuine love of working with young children to join our new location.

Full-time Native English teachers for a Nursery school :1 - 5 year old children

Japanese: Some would be beneficial
Candidates currently residing in Japan will be given preference

Description
Michael International Preschool is a new International Preschool based in Himeji City focusing on a nurturing,supportive environment for children to naturally acquire English skills while being aware of their own identity and developing crucial life skills.Our curriculum is an extensive, research-based, immersion curriculum which includes phonics, reading, mathematics, science, physical education, music, role-playing, story-telling, values lessons, weekly cooking and craft activities, and more. Field trips, outdoor activities, sports days, plays and pageants also make up a big part of the school year. The curriculum is constantly under development and teachers will be expected to actively contribute.

Teachers who are active and energetic whilst at the same time diligent and professional,patient and empathetic to childrens needs and can bring the best out of each individual student are a true asset to any educational organization and as such will be rewarded accordingly.There is opportunity to advance as our school grows and we also encourage and support staff personal development.Training and development courses throughout employment will be provided and encouraged.

●Job description
-English Lessons with full curriculum and support
-Childcare Service (Meal support, Toilet support, Diaper changes, Nap times)

As well as offering regular classes we will also be encouraging children to develop physical well being and performing arts skills outside regular class times.

●Work Days / Hours:
- Shifts are scheduled for 8 hours of work per day, 5 days a week.
- Mondays to Saturdays / 7:30 - 18:00 (60 minutes break)

● Holidays, Vacations:
- Sunday, National / Public holidays, Summer vacation, New Year holiday vacation
- Annual paid leave - ten days in the first year (when conditions are satisfied)
*Depending on schedule, occasional Saturday work will be required for teachers not regularly rostered to work on weekends and alternative days off in lieu will be arranged.

● Salary:
- ¥230,000~280,000 month starting(negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
- Bonus: Negotiable
*Initial probation period of 3 months with 95% of monthly salary paid
