This position involves planning and delivering lessons, conducting level assessment interviews, recording attendance and writing student assessments. In addition to this, there will be other tasks that will be explained at the interview.
We are looking to start on October 1, 2018 but the exact starting date is negotiable. Orientation will be arranged at a time negotiated with the successful candidate.
Contracts for the position are intially for six months and then subsequent contracts are for twelve months on a renewable basis.
The salary will be paid monthly at a sum of 350,000.
This position is for five days a week. The schedule is: Mondays 12:00-21:00 (with a one-hour break), Tuesdays 16:00-21:00, Fridays 08:00-16:00 (with a one-hour break), Saturdays 09:00-19:00 (with a one-hour break), Sundays 09:00-19:00 (with a one-hour break).
This position will require enrolment in Social Insurance (Shakai Hoken).
We are looking for trainers who:
● are flexible enough to manage unexpected requests and changes
● are able to manage their own schedule
● are able to combine their experience in the corporate world with exemplary teaching skills
● are able to maintain frequent contact with account managers and staff
Requirements:
● have a minimum of an undergraduate degree
● are a native (or native-fluent) English speaker
● have a minimum of 5 years business experience
● business experience at management level preferred
Visa/Residence Requirements:
Only domestic applicants with a valid working visa to work in Japan will be considered. Please note that all interviews are conducted in-person in Tokyo.
