English Teacher for Children（到期)

Apple Seed Academy is looking for additional part-time English teachers who are available to begin immediately. Applicants must currently reside in Japan and be able to commute to Ashiya, Hyogo prefecture. Apple Seed is accessible from JR Ashiya Station, Hanshin Ashiya Station, and Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station. Students' ages generally range from preschool to older elementary school and student levels range from absolute beginners to experienced English speakers.

Hourly Wage: 2,000 yen + transportation expenses.

Applicants must be available to work at least five days a week. Most hours are from afternoon to early evening, but morning hours may also be possible based on applicant availability. Applicants who can work during the day on Saturdays are especially welcome.

Must be comfortable working with children, interested in English education, and able to work hard in a professional environment.

Native English is required and conversational Japanese (or better) is a plus.
Teachers must be able to correct simple spelling and grammar mistakes and should not have frequent mistakes in their own English writing.

Promotion to full-time is possible based on performance.
