English Language Teacher（到期)

Art n` English studio is currently looking for part-time an English Language teacher to join its International team.

As a language teacher you will be responsible for preparing and teaching English Language classes to a variety of students, predominantly children aged between 4 and 10 years of age.

 Position will begin in July with details being discussed with successful applicants.
 All lessons will be conducted at our Location in Yokohama.
 A text will be provided by the studio, we would however require you to prepare your own classes in advance at the studio.
 All classes are for a 1 our period, with a minimum 15 minute interval between classes.
 Time will be provided before and after the teaching schedule to prepare lessons and/ or for administrative tasks.
 Classes will be conducted on Saturday mornings and Saturday afternoons.
 Teaching will be conducted independently with occasional assistance from a Japanese national or other member of staff.
 Initially, this is a part time position but there is a high possibility of other opportunities within the school in the future. In particular during the summer period and/ or at external cultural events in various locations.
 Remuneration will be 1,800 – 2,000 yen per hour dependent on experience.

 Native English Speaker
 Valid Working Visa
 Must currently reside in Japan
 1 year minimum teaching experience with children
 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
 Passion to teach children and an ability to create lasting relationships with their families.

Priority will be given to those candidates with the following:

 Japanese Language ability
 TEFL certification or equivalent
 Interest in Art or Craft
