Job Description – Summer Camp Staff

※Team Leaders prepare campers for and guide them through a wide variety of exciting activities, as well as stay aware of their emotional and social needs. Attention to each individual camper is key to this role.
In this position, you will supervise campers to ensure their entire camp experience is safe, fun, and memorable.

※Camp Staff Manager will be responsible for supervising and supporting Team Leaders, managing
employee expectations, assessing and reporting staff performance, as well as supporting all aspects of operations in order to create an awesome, professional camp. While in a support role for your team leaders, you will have plenty of facetime with campers.

We are looking for staff with conversation level of Japanese for Team Leader and Camp Staff Manager positions.

※Camp Admin Assistant is responsible for managing all administrative duties at camp. This includes all printing and distribution of camp documents; management of all camper luggage shipping; contact and confirmation with parents regarding camper allergy information.

※Medication Manager is responsible for managing all camper medication. This includes all collection of medication and data from parents at check-in; organization and filing of medication at camp; and distribution of medication during meals and during the camp day.

Both Camp Admin Assistant and Medication Manager positions require native-level Japanese ability.

※Activity leaders (Craft Master, Waterfront Master, Tie Dye Master, Low Ropes Master, Hike Master, Field Games Master, English Master, Kayak Master, Staff Café Master) will be in charge of leading their respective activities. Applicants should have experience in those activities. No Japanese ability is necessary for this position.

Job Description – Autumn Camp Leader

※This camp is a specially designed program with a junior high school in Yokohama. You will team up with other staff to help 160 junior high school students prepare for their final trip to Canada.
English Adventure's main focus is to provide the students with a platform to use their English naturally and be in an international environment. There will be no Japanese speaking ability needed as we wish to provide the students with an English only experience.

Overseas Volunteer package which includes:
- Reimbursement of airfare to and from Japan (to a maximum of 110,000 JPY).
- Lodging in Tokyo for all dates in between camp sessions, if desired
- Lodging at our campsite for all working days of camp
- All meals during training and camp sessions
- Round trip train or bus between Narita or Haneda airport and central Tokyo

You will be responsible for the following:
- Travel insurance (mandatory for all overseas staff).
- Any travel and living costs outside those listed above

Compensation

We are highly competitive in the education and outdoor education industry. Salary for each camp varies, but our average starting salary is ¥ 10,000 yen per day.

English Adventure also covers transportation between the Tokyo metro area and camp, food, lodging, and other regular expenses during the camps.
