Part-time Elementary English Teacher - April 2018（到期)

The Osaka YMCA Language Center is looking for experienced native English language instructors to fill various part-time teaching positions starting in April 2018.

Candidates must …
> currently reside in Japan.
> hold a current valid working visa.
> have a native level of English.
> have at least three years English language teaching experience.
> have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
> be available to work from April 2018 to March 2019.

Duties include …
> planning and teaching lessons according to course guidelines.
> interacting with students, and encouraging interaction between students, in English.
> preparing and marking homework.
> participating in the assessment and recording of students' progress.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CLASSES

-Elementary Returnee Class (TU)
Times: Tuesdays 15:00-19:00
Contract length: 38 lessons from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥16,800/lesson plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori
Description: Part-time native English teacher for high-level returnees/international school attendees aged 6-12 years.

-Elementary Children’s Class (TU)
Times: Tuesdays 17:00-18:20
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥5,600/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 6-12 years. Two 40-minute general English lessons a day.

-International Kids Program: Explorers/Trailblazers (W)
Times: Wednesdays 16:20-19:00
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥9,800/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 6-12 years. Teaching day involves working with one class through five periods of study focused on general English, phonics/reading, and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work.

-Elementary Children’s Class (W)
Times: Wednesdays 16:20-19:00
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥9,800/day plus transportation
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori
Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 6-12 years.

Times: Saturdays 9:15-12:35 / 13:50-17:10
Contract length: 38 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥25,200/day plus transportation

Description: Part-time native English teacher for students aged 6-12 years. Teaching day involves two 200-minute sessions focused on general English study and theme-based activities such as crafts, cooking, and project work.

-Dispatch Elementary Class (S)
Times: Saturdays 8:30-16:30
Contract length: 30 days from April 2018 to March 2019
Compensation: ¥25,375/day plus transportation
