描述

[Dokkyo]
In 1883, Dokkyo High School was founded as the Japan’s first and only institute to teach the German language. Dokkyo has been providing high quality German lessons for over 130 years, and it is one of the most notable characteristics of the school.

[Work]
Dokkyo is recruiting a part-time native German teacher, who can start working 1st April, 2018.
1-2 evenings a week (15:00-17:30)
2-3 classes per week (maximum 2 classes on one evening)
The classes are for 15-30 high school students who intend to develop their German language skill.
50-minute class rate ; ¥8,720
Bonuses paid twice a year, which are 1.3 monthly pay in total.
All transportation expenses covered.

[Extra]
The part-time teacher will also be required to run intensive classes for the Goethe-Institute Examination, PASCH (partner school program by Goethe-Institute) and PAD (pedagogical student exchange program). The former is held for 4 days once or twice a year, and the latter are held depending on the demands of students.
For the intensive course, 50-minute lesson rate ; ¥4,500.

[Contract]
1 year. Contract renewal is possible for performance.

[Requirement]
The part-time native teacher is to have majored in linguistics, German literature, or language education at university/ graduate school, or is to have experiences teaching German at universities/ high schools in Japan or overseas. Basic communication in Japanese is required.
