We are a subsidiary of JP Holdings, which is one of the biggest nursery and after-school facilities providers in Japan. We focus not only on education, but providing children with lasting memories and a solid relationship with English.

Job content:
Teaching an average of 2 schools per day (morning and afternoon), in a friendly working environment at daycares and after-school recreation centers for elementary school children (Gakudo) managed and run by our group companies.

- Valued team members are being sought to teach short lessons to children ages 1-5, or older kids at our Gakudo (after-school program)
- Curriculum is decided as a group and is provided, along with materials. Teachers are not asked to prepare materials off company time.
- Formal attire is not required. A T-Shirt will be provided.

Required qualifications:
Native English speakers who currently reside in Japan, with a valid visa
Conversational level speaking Japanese at minimum, and experience teaching children will be welcomed.

Work location:
Daycares and Gakudo facilities which are appointed by J-Cast Inc., mainly run by Nihon Hoiku Service or affiliated companies. Also, the Tokyo office in Shinagawa.
(We have schools in Noda-shi, Kanagawa, Tokyo, and Saitama.)

Hours:
Part time position, between 9am to 13pm/2pm to 6pm, depending on the size of the school.
Salary：
1,500 yen ~ 2,000 yen per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
The payment system for full time is different. For those interested, please inquire.

Allowances/Benefits:
Transportation fees reimbursed in full, which will be added to next month's salary.
Weekends and national holidays off.
Insurance and Japanese pension can be compulsory depending on the hours. Training provided.

Hiring time frame:
Never taught children before or worried it may not be fun? Don't fret! We provide full training and full support to ensure you feel comfortable and at ease with leading classes.
The first interview will be held at our Tokyo office, and the second one at one of our facilities.
We provide 2-3 week (or more depending on experience) training after hiring. Although we have a set structure for the lessons, we have a friendly and open environment where everyone brings their ideas and adds to it.

Selection criteria:
Since it is a position at Daycares and Gakudos, there will be lots of singing, dancing, playing games with the children. Love for children is a must!
A good team-worker who can feel comfortable working in a Japanese environment will be welcomed.
It is highly preferred that applicants live in the Tokyo, Chiba, or Kanagawa area.
