[Job Description]
ALGO is a teaching system that has developed in Japan. It focuses on the imagination and logical thinking to solve problems concerning figures. Thanks to the cooperation of Peter Frankl, one of the Maths Olympics champions, it spreads all around Japan and gives a lot of children the joys of mathematics.
We, Shingakukan, also have been having Japanese ALGO Class for 10 years and accumulated the knowledge to improve children’s skill in mathematics. This time,we plan to start ALGO in English Class from next February at Karasumaoike School.
We apply this know-how to ALGO in English Class and aim to cultivate not only mathematical sense but also English listening and speaking ability.
Mainly you teach ALGO in English Class to Japanese students with Japanese teachers. The students are from 1st grade to 3rd grade in elementary schools. You also have to make and check teaching materials. Sometimes you teach English to other Japanese teachers.

ALGO in English Class starts next February.
Before the Class starts ~ January, 2018
From December 1st, or the earliest possible time in December, 2017.
Afternoon on weekday 13:30~15:30 or 19:00~21:00 at least once a week except winter vacation.
After the Class starts February, 2018~
From February 1st ~ July 31th, 2018 or ~January 31th, 2019
On every Saturday afternoon 15:30~18:00
Afternoon on weekday 13:30~15:30 or 19:00~21:00 at least once a week except seasonal vacations.

Fluent English Speaker. Passion about teaching. Affection for children.
Good experience of teaching children is a plus but not mandatory.
[Salary]
An hourly rate of 5,000 yen for teaching classes. 920 yen per an hour for making and emending the teaching programs and materials for ALGO in English Class and for teaching English to employees of UP INC. 910 yen for training. Public transportation fare shall be paid.

Shingakukan Karasumaoike School managed by UP INC.
