English teacher (part-time & summer school)（期限切れ）

As a small and growing company, this position will require the candidate to be an integral member of the organization.



Title: Part-time English Instructor



*Part-time positions available teaching kids and adults at the conversation school in Meito Ward and at public schools and university, and at local businesses, and teaching 4 days a week in the Atlanta Kids Summer School Program (this July & August)




General responsibilities:


・ teaching lessons utilizing PPP (Presentation・Practice・Production) or similar teaching methods
・ proper lesson planning and preparation
・ updating student files
・ assisting staff with general duties
・ being organized
・ being flexible in a demanding environment
・ arriving promptly
・ working on location, or in some cases at local schools, universities, or companies



Salary breakdown:


・ Hourly wage: ￥2400 ~ ￥4000

・ ￥2250 per 50-min lesson (adults, 1:1 or group)

・ ￥2500 per 50-min lesson (kids, 1:1 or group)

・ ￥4000 per 60-min lesson (adult groups of 5-10 on location)

・ ￥2000 per 50 minutes of non-teaching office work (the nature of work varies)

・ ￥10,000 per day (4.5 hours of work) + bonus for kids' Summer School in July & August


*Per month potential: from ￥50,000 (5 or so lessons per week) ~ ￥200,000 (20 or so lessons per week)




Working hours: negotiable; school open 7-days a week, from 9:30am-9:30pm

Visa sponsorship available


Selection will be based on a thorough evaluation of the candidate's education, skills, experience, and interview.


Selected candidates will be subject to a background investigation including employment and education.
