Night Shift Staff for a New Hostel by Kyoto Station (expired)

We are looking for Japanese & English speaking bilingual staff with immense love for travel, appreciation of Japanese culture and professional customer service attitude to join our team as a part-time staff doing NIGHT SHIFT as well as assisting with morning and afternoon shifts when needed.

Our hostel is one of the only hostels with full 24-hour front desk and late check-in service. In addition to these, we hold many regular events and operate a bar area that run late into 3am.

This job would be most suitable for those with flexible schedules, students or those who prefer working at night.

Shift Period: 10:30pm - 7:30am

Requirements:
- TOEIC:500+ or JLPT:N2+
- Strong ability of cooperativeness and communication with other staff
- Problem solving and handling potential emergencies in a calm manner
- Taking initiative to suggest changes and improve service quality
- Able to multi-task
- Strong PC skills
- Good knowledge of Kyoto City and Japanese tourist destinations
- Experience working front desk an asset

Location: MOSAIC HOSTEL KYOTO 5 mins walk from JR Kyoto Station

Salary: ¥900/hr or ¥8,312 per shift. (¥850/hr for first 3 months during Training Period for those without experience). NIGHT SHIFT gets paid 1.25x the base wage between the period of 10pm-5am.
