Description

Native speaking teacher position available now and another position available in April in Settsu Osaka. Teachers with confidence and enthusiasm needed for teaching young children age 5 years old.


Details of the job are as follows:
Place: Settsu City, Osaka (Near Minami-Settsu Station, Monorail Line)

Work Hours: (1) 9:30 – 14:00 @ 2,000yen/hour Tue, Wed, Fri (3-day shift)
(2) 8:30 – 14:00 @ 2,000yen/hour Mon thru Fri (5-day shift)


Benefits: (1) Employee Insurance and transportation (3-day shift only)
(2) Private School Insurance and pension is included along with Employee Insurance and transportation (5-day shift only)
(3) Free school lunch provided

Contract Term: One year renewable contract

Job Duties: After attending a paid 3 day training course with the material, you will be in charge of the English lesson for your assigned class, which may include giving out and checking homework books once a week and also other office duties which are usually once a month. Classes are 40 minutes long and two are taught during your shift. You will also be responsible to help homeroom teachers with daily duties such as helping with school lunch, watching over children during recess, or joining your class on field trips and picnics. You will also teach other classes outside of your assigned class on a rotation basis with other teachers. We currently employ 6 native English speaking teachers.

2. A native speaker of English with proper working visas.
3. A teacher who has a lot of energy and enjoys doing many activities all day.
4. A good understanding of different cultures.
5. A teacher who likes to engage in activities such as plays, small parties, festivals and
sporting events with the children.
6. A teacher who is flexible and can handle sudden schedule changes.
