Part Time English Teacher - Preschool, Elementary School (expired)

Karugamo English School is currently accepting applications for part time English Teachers. We currently have two locations in the Saitama area and will be opening a new location near Kita Urawa station in January of 2019.

At Karugamo, we pride ourselves in providing teachers with the support they need in terms of curriculum and lesson plans so that they always have the tools they need to teach a great lesson.

Job Description:
-Conduct English conversation and phonics lessons based on provided curricula and lesson plans (lessons are 55 minutes long).
-Teach groups of 6-8 students ranging from preschool to elementary school age.
-Make an effort to make each lesson fun and interesting for students.
-Build a rapport with each student and take a genuine interest in their progress.

Job Requirements:
-Must be of Native level proficiency in English.
-Must be available and able to commute to our school at the designated hours.

Working Hours/Salary:
-We offer 2,500-3,500 per lesson hour scheduled based on qualifications and experience.
-Lessons at our Kita Urawa branch will be scheduled between the hours of 3:30 and 8:20 from Tuesday through Friday and on Saturdays from 9:00 to 7:20.
-Positions to teach lessons at our other locations may also be available from Tuesday through Friday between the hours of 3:30 and 5:00 and from 4:30 to 6:30.
-Transportation expenses are fully covered.

-Enjoys working with kids.
-Experience teaching English to preschool and elementary school aged kids.
-Motivated to continue improving as a teacher.
