Description

We are currently looking for an experienced, energetic part-time English language teacher for regular kids English classes on Wednesday.

Location:
Nagoya YMCA (Ikeshita): 1-2-7, Haruoka, Chikusa-ku Nagoya
Nanzan Family YMCA: 14 Minamiyama-cho, Shouwa-ku Nagoya

Contract term:
October 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019 (The start date varies depending on a class.)

Class Hours:
13:30-15:30, 16:00-18:00, 16:30-18:30 (Wednesday)

Class:
Kindergarten age, elementary school age

Payment:
6,600 - 7,700yen per lesson + public transportation coverage (Maximum 1,500 yen)

*Teachers are required to arrive early enough to prepare for the class and stay for extra 10-15 minutes to interact with parents and tidy up the classroom.
*Regular classes do not run during summer, winter, and spring breaks.
*YMCA will inform you detailed academic schedule at the interview.
*The maximum number of students per class is 12.


Responsibilities include the followings:

・Develop and conduct engaging, enjoyable, and educational English language lessons based on our teaching curriculum and additional instruction to help nurture the potential of your students through the language education (Teaching contents may include phonics, grammar, listening, reading, speaking, theme study, crafts, art, and P.E.)

・Ensure the English only policy is followed all the time

・Set up your classroom before your students arrive and tidy up the classroom after class

・Ensure safety of our students during the class, activities, and break time through adequate supervision

・Explain your class contents briefly to the parents after every class with support from YMCA staff
