Description

We are looking for a part-time office assistant to run the office on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. More days are available if you're interested.

*Ideal Candidate*
- Fresh person for a Key role in managing / liaising with educational clients.

- You have been described as proactive, energetic, sociable, efficient, and creative. You are comfortable with ambiguity and feel comfortable actively asking questions and seeking help when necessary.
-Language: You have native/fluent Japanese capability and professional proficiency in written and spoken English
-Skills: You have working proficiency with all common office software (MS Office), managing Excel spreadsheets.
-Schedule: We need office coverage on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. More days are available if you're interested.


*What you will be doing*
-Client-facing: Our office management team is the first point of contact for all inbound requests and client communications, whether by e-mail or phone, and in both Japanese and English. Introducing our office & explaining our policies. You will match student and teacher schedules for diagnostics, lessons, and classes.
-Internal: Office management is an internal hub of communication, from dealing with various procedures (making contracts, canceling contracts, changing plans), often with Japanese counterparties, to liaising with tutors, planning team hangouts, and more. You will also maintain stocks of curriculum and manage diagnostic material and data entry for our teaching staff.
-Operations: This team ensures the office is humming along smoothly by managing the facility and office equipment (checking stocks, ordering supplies.)
-Strategic Initiatives: During your flexible time, you will support the rest of the organization on our many growth initiatives as we continue to refine and grow the organization and team.
