Part-Time Children's English Teacher (expired)

Skip Hoikuen is looking for a fun and responsible part-time, native English teacher for children (ages 1~6) at our Saitama/Tokyo/Kanagawa area nursery schools starting from April, with training in February-March. Teachers will be traveling to a different school each lesson day, alternating between our nursery schools.

Duties: Planning, preparing, and teaching lessons following a prepared curriculum.

Hours: 9:00 to 18:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. The days you work can be flexible depending on your schedule. Monday or Friday are also options if that works better for you. The month of August is off.

Compensation: Salary is from 2,100 to 2,600 yen/hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Training and non-teaching salary is 1,000 yen/hour. Transportation is paid.

Place: Our Tokyo/Saitama area nursery schools are located in Ryogoku, Kami-Itabashi, and Toda-Koen and our Kanagawa school is located in Yokohama.

Though we prefer an experienced candidate, we are open to hiring college students or an inexperienced candidate if they have the right personality and willingness to learn.
