Description
Minerva Intelligence is accepting applications for positions in the Kanto area.
Energetic and fun English speakers are encouraged to apply for:
<Position>
・Position: English Teacher for Children
・Contract type: Part time (between 2 and 7 hours a day)
<Compensation>
・Part time : 2,000-2,500 yen/hr, 5,000-14,000 yen/day
・Transportation (IC fare) will be covered additionally
・Current part-time teachers commute on average 40 minutes from their home or school station

<Work Location/ Hours/Days>
・Location: Minerva's English Schools and Kindergartens (Saitama, Kanagawa, Chiba, Tokyo)
・Hours: Most lessons will start and finish between 10:00 - 19:00, mainly in the afternoon
・Days: Monday - Saturday (starting from 1 day a week)
・Work Start: Immediately depending on location
<Qualifications>
Minerva Intelligence is looking for English Teachers for Children who:
・Are passionate about teaching children (age group: mainly 1-12 year old students)
・Understand how to use and recognize non-verbal communication
・Are patient under pressure
・Know how to bring play into lesson content
・Can easily build rapport with students, parents, and Japanese staff
<Job Description>
・Deliver a 50-60 minute group lesson with a maximum of 8 students (Kindergartens have more)
・Review, prepare & deliver lessons in a fun, engaging way (vocabulary, songs, games)
・Communicate professionally with the team to give high quality lessons and customer service
*All curriculum, lesson plans, and lesson materials will be ready for use at each school location.
<Training>
・All successful candidates will go through a paid initial training program
・Additional training and workshops offered for further development
